Nix Comics has many artistic heroes, some obvious and some not. Pat Redding Scanlon was commissioned to create portraits of some of those heroes!
 
The Damned's Captain Sensible's name is apt for Nix Comics as he leant a sense of humor to the writing in Nix Comics. Like Comics (with a capital "C"), punk music was all too often sooOOOOooo serious. Not the Captain. Dude wore a chicken suit in photos and I assume on stage. I say Captain... you say WOT!
