So again... No pressure here. No deadlines. No placing my hopes and dreams and responsibilities on you, my dear readers. This isn't a crowdfunder. I just know that a lot of you like helping, I know some of you like seeing my process, and still others know that I like hearing myself talk.
As of this writing, I have pre-sold 37 books for a total of $825.50. A little less than half-way to a number where I'd break even if I just fulfilled the orders.
But breaking even isn't really my first objective. My first objective is to sell at least 25 copies of each book. No magic to that, other than its the minimum print run for the vendor that I chose to make my estimate for the project. As you can see from the graphic above, that's pretty likely for Living with Explosions, medium likely for Undead Ballads, and pretty iffy for our friends out on the western frontier. (Sorry pardner, looks like both the Sheriff & the Gunsel are slow on the draw!)
I'll likely take a breather from social media posts for a week or so. I think I've hit a point of diminishing returns on that front. (No real action for the past couple of days from Facebook. The other sites have kept steady... at no response really...) Instead I'll focus on hanging together PDFs to send out for reviews and blurbs. I was on the fence about doing so, but now it seems right.
